Attractive Vase - unidentified maker - maybe early 20th Century ? Thought to possibly be a 'Trial Piece' that does not appear to have been mass produced, or at least not sold on mass in the UK at least.

£700.00Price

Ceramic Jardiniere, with a pomegranate decoration, stipple effect and copper rimmed base. It appears to be hand painted. We have been unable to identify the maker and the markings are unclear: possibly either a 'Jc' or 'Je' mark; with also some numbers which appear to be 1041. Maybe early 20th century? It is a good quality piece in good condition. It may have been a 'Trial Piece' because we have not found evidence that these were mass produced. The bolt on the bottom holds the copper rim in place: however, this may mean that it is suitable for dried flowers only, i.e. it is probably not water-tight. An attractive and unusual piece.  Approximate Size: Max height: 22cm; Max width: 18cm

We respectfully advise Prospective Buyers of the following:

1). Because Postage and Delivery costs vary from country to country we will confirm our postage and delivery charges prior to customers paying for a product. The costs we incur for postage and delivery are in addition to the purchase price. Rather than send by standard parcel post, we will send by the more expensive registered/signed for/secure post.

2). Sometimes, especially when a product is fragile/valuable/too large or heavy - we give customers the option of collecting in person. Therefore, if you live locally , or are visiting our part of the country, you can collect in person and thereby avoid additional charges for postage/delivery.

3). Buyers should be aware that some countries will charge the Buyer an 'Import Duty'. Therefore we recommend that Buyers be aware of what 'Import Duties' they may incur, which will be in addition to the purchase price.

4). We provide images showing the product to reflect the condition of the product as best we can - showing wear and tear. We therefore have a policy of 'Bought as Seen' and ask that you peruse images so that you are aware of the condition before buying. Buyers are welcome to arrange to inspect a product in person before buying, or to ask any questions they wish concerning a product. If you have any questions, please email: chris@bulgarianbritishpartnership.co.uk

5). Obviously if you do not receive a product (if it gets lost in the post/is not delivered, or arrives broken) we will issue a refund. If the insurance is too high a cost to add on to the purchase price (with valuable/fragile products) - we would prefer that Buyers collect in person.
